Default High Flow Intakes or Stock Intake

I currently have a dumb little "cold air" intake on my car (Picture attached) and I am going to change it. The previous owner put it on as well as the turbo manifold which I will also be swapping out for the original N/A one. My question is should I get a high flow intake (if so which one?) or should I go back to the stock airbox, snorkel, and j boot? I was planning on reverting back to the stock intake system because that's what the car is tuned for, but I am open for new ideas.

I would vote for stock, it's what the car was designed by the engineers for. Of course, I suppose it depends to some extent on what your intended use case is.

The trap door AFM is the restriction so hi flow intakes are wasting money. Cool air from outside the engine compartment is more important.

Stock airbox is more than sufficient.

Yeah, I would say this is not a great setup since it’s feeding hot air from the engine block. The factory airbox has a tube that goes to an opening in the front drivers side inner fender, so picks up air from outside the engine bay. Shouldn’t be too hard to revert once you have the parts. Good luck!
