Question Seat covers, least tacky

I have the cloth-insert leather seats in my 951, and I've developed a disintegration in the cloth so it's starting to come unravelled. I am planning on reupholstering the seats and the steering wheel next winter. But in the meantime, I'd like to cover up this flaw and perhaps stop it from getting worse.

Are there any seat covers made for our cars that are tastefully done and don't look bad?

I have tan Sheepskin seat covers for non-sport seats. Very nice condition. They came of my 87 924S a few years ago.

Blonde or redhead is always attractive.

Of course, if you're married, you wife may feel otherwise.

Yep... these are the "Nice" ones with a backing between the seat and the leather of the back side of sheepskin. And yep they have the sheep fluff part on the outside as the seating surface.

I found them my closet after doing some cleaning. I forgot I had them.

I guess my point is that the Rennbay ones are priced so well, it is false economy to buy good covers now and then buy the Rennbay ones later........

I don't much care for fuzzy seats or I'd take the ones in your closet off your hands

PEP boys has some inexpensive slip covers that will carry you through until you can do it the way you really want.

Yes, that's it exactly. I want to cover (and provent any further deterioration) until I can reupholster the seats, which I'm planning to do next winter.

However, if there are nice covers, I could change my mind and live with them.

Yea i have a really nice set of real sheep skin covers (whiteish). They seemed to keep my 83' leather in perfect condition. I can send pictures to vouch for that!
