Default Quick Vacuum question

I put my finger on the line coming into the fuel vapor purge system, and I feel no vacuum, this a problem?

From my understanding, you should only see results after a certain temp as it is connected to a thermal switch on the head that opens at 58 degress if I remember correctly.

The purge system is not always "running."

First the vacuum switch at the rear of the engine will not open until the engine coolant temperature is above 58 degrees Celsius.

Second, vacuum is applied only briefly as the throttle plate starts to open.

Thanks, I checked it while the engine was cool, and idling, so that must explain it.
