The "RS" stands for Rich Sandor.

I am making the Turbo RS rear wing in my basement out of fiberglass. It will be a direct replacement for the rear piece of rubber on the hatch.

Going to have to find a euro 951 rubber bumper strip somewhere.

and The sidemarkers are already gone from my chassis. (Used a metal filler!)

This is the car right now. I'm going downstairs to work on it some more - there still bits of paint around some edges and the passenger door glas and door handles are still on. Gotta rip em off.

This is mt front bumper. It's a standard American Bumper but I'd fibreglassed and poly-fillered the hole in, and sanded till my arm fell off. I primered it to make sure it was flush, but I ****ed up and rubbed up against it before it dried! DOH! (That's the smudge on the bottom) Otherwise it's flexible and very very slick!

well if mine works out, I'll keep the mold and offer to make some for you if it's not too expensive. It won't be exactly the same as the real turbo RS spoiler, because it will directly replace that wide rear rubber spoiler but keep the stock side trim bits.

Hey Rich, Ian at 944 online can get the bumper rubber strip. They're $85 USD.

BTW, the first pic in this thread- Nice ***!
Mine will look just like it...except in blue...and no RS wing... and no Porsche decal...and mine will have a 944S2 emblem...and no SFR exhaust...and bigger rear tires.
I guess it won't look much like that after all.

Looks great Rich, I cant wait to see how the fiberglass turns out or how you make it. I would like to know how your going to do that, I would love to learn that.

Rich, wow!! that's amazing!!! I'm in awe.

If you are selling fiberglass versions of a spoiler, please email me a price. I am sorry if it offends anyone, but I would like to get rid of that rubber version (once I have one to get rid of).

I've worked with fiberglass a bit and I was going to try but I'm guessing yours will be MUCH better than what I would come up with.

Man am I glad that wasnt an *** shot!

Rich - I love how the picture in your sig keeps changing with the updates, very clever.

The front bumper you might want to also fill the marker lights from the inside to build it up a little, may not be necessary, just a thought.

oh, sorry, wasn't talking to you. J/K man, I love that rear pic,I have it saved. Progress looks great man, been there before. Just, please tell me that you put some sort of metal in ther ear marker light holes before you filled them.I don't think filler alone will hold, better to do it now than after you paint it. Good luck man
