Default 944 S Transmission Price

Hey guys I have a 944 S Non-LSD Transmission about to go up for sale. Roughly 140k Miles. I am about to pull it and have a turbo unit coming for the v8 car. How much are one of these worth? Thanks for your help!

For reference, I bought one locally for $150 Canadian pesos. I've also seen one for sale locally for $500... so somewhere in between is probably a good start.

Ya it's hard to gauge things now I feel like prices are going up especially in the turbo section. I didn't know if the S trans would be more due to being less common (turbo gearing with na r&p). Honestly if someone wants it they can shoot me an offer. I just bought a 87 turbo UY trans, which wasn't a bad deal at $650 shipping hurt a little as it was $850 total.

I may be in the market, waiting for a diagnosis. Have you settled on a price?

Call up Mark at Plyhammer and see what he would want for one..Or you can call Roger at Retro Automotive in Claremont, NH and see what their price would be. They have a whole room full of transmissions, 924,944,968, 356 and other models. That may give you a basis of what to ask for. just sayin..
