A. I am dead...
B. It is totaled.. <--- If this happens I will be sad but hopefully I (anyone driving) will be ok .....
C. Give it to my children (After they have earned it)

I plan on putting lot of miles on her no matter the repair bills. The car to me is beyond any doller value. Its a shared on going project that I share with my father. Hopefully I can share with my children someday.
Or D. When a useable fuel without causing damage runs out.

I like it when I park the car and the last 3 numbers say 944 then I have to drive it somewhere and return and the last 3 say 951

It's not only the motors that last. The bodies on these cars are timeless, and rarely rust (unless hit, of course)! That's why it's easy to keep them so long--they don't look like 15-year old dogs!

I'm at 102...just shy of 103 right now. Really wasn't happy when it rolled...but what are you gonna do
I certainly won't be doing that whem my car hits 140,000!

Unless, of course, I'm at Pocono Raceway or Watkins Glen!

My February 1983 944 has 89,056 miles which equals 4,264 miles/year.
I think she must have been a garage queen for a large portion of her life.
Of course we only drive cars like this from mid April to October, up here in the Great White North. Cold and salt.
