June 5th : Taj Kreuzers Concours & Car Show: Bigger and better!

June 6th : Taj Kreuzers Autocross: Get your Mojo workin!

June 6th : Larry's Off Road Drag: Get your straight line Mojo workin!

June 6th : Taj Museum Walk: You ain't even gonna believe it!

The Taj is even raffling away a new 2004 VW Beetle Cabriolet (details on the link).

The last few events have been a blast. Please mark your calenders for this event, and preregister early of possible. We already have 33 out of 75 slots filled for the driving tour. How often do you get to cruise with a GT2 in front of you and a 356 Super Carrera behind you?

The Concourse is a "Peoples Choice", just like the last few years. No white gloves. Last year the cars ranged from 356's to a 959.

I also have received word that a new GT3 and Carrera GT will be in the collection and present by the date of the event.

yesterday i got a call saying the front end is done, new suspensio pan, new struts, and new bearings, as well as a mount made for my rally lights.. bad news was the leak down test showed 0% on the right side of the engine... but after he checked the head he found it was loose.. retightened it, and im at 90%!!!!!!

btw.. have i showed you the rally decal im having made next month to celebrate this years treck to cali?



im also getting some other decals done. (all magentic of course.. nothing permanent)

needless to say, im gonna kick all those 911's *** in the show this year. god i cant wait for the taj event.. what a cool show.

There should be a link there in registration that takes you to the classes from SCCA. I think that both of you should be in BSP. BUT, the SCCA is doing special Porsche classes so what you put now on the registration should not matter. It will be changed there at the event. The classes will be similar to normal PCA classes (ie: more liberal). So, sign up, and we'll sort it all out there...................

Oh, I forgot to mention that the Taj also has an actual 951 Cup Car in the stable that will be there in the musuem. Along with the two sets of magnesium phone dials...........



And Harry will just love the mint condition 912 that is in there.........

Tifo- John was nice enough to give Harry and I a thorough tour and history of the 912, as well as the Rothmann's car last year at the VW- Porsche rendezvous at GE park. What a nice guy, and both are simply amazing..

Now, why is that? It shouldn't be any more rough on the car than the normal driving it sees...............Did your parents nix the idea?


For any that are considering the museum tour, here is a shot from just one wing:




The Taj has just added another 5600sq ft wing, it is in the construction phase and will be done by the event. One of the interesing items is that there will be a real 911 cut in half lengthwise and mounted on one of the walls.

This really is a great event. I have to say the driving tour was my favorite part of last years event. This year the autocross looks very promising as it is at a better venue (last year the venue was small and the course a little too tight for my liking, practically 1st gear all the way).
