Bit of a crazy idea, but wondering if anyone thinks it’s feasible to mod this shifter to fit into a 944 race car.

Would obviously need cut and weld the connecting rod to the gearbox to make up something that would suit the existing 944 transaxle rod.
crazy idea and stupidly expensive bit of kit to going cutting it up, but just curious whether anyone has tried something like this.
cheaper idea than the sequential boxes some have put in though…

im not seeing any benefit to this in a 944?
its just a taller H pattern lever with some springs in it to smooth out the chunky 911 gearbox.
944 with fresh linkage is very tight and smooth
