Those are good pics of the battery cables. Perry951 has some other good ones of the headlight kit on his web site for the rebuild ..... I think the ones on Rennlist have crashed and burned.


To make things clear, the nylon plastic slit tube goes over the supplemental fuse and bronze bolt and is secured with a couple cable ties. So no shorts, though it really isn't close to any ground other than the hood.

The steel bolt I include is a last ditch solution if you blow the 150 amp fuse out in the middle of Alaska or Montana. As I say in the instructions, you better know what caused that fuse to blow before you hardwire with the bolt.

TechnoDuck, Yeah that fiberglass sleeve is an itching bitch. I hate working with it. You can only imagine what it is like going through 1000 feet of it. It takes a week of showers to get it off and stop itching.
