Tifo - looks really good. mine is lowered as well but not quite so much. what did you do for the front ball joints to keep them from wearing out from being lowered? and do you have upgraded bushings or stock rubber bushings?

Lead Foot 944 - I did the KLA coilovers myself. $550 IIRC including "special" springs (i have 140# helper springs instead of the usual 100# helper springs they usually supply. also, mine are 9" in length vs the usual 10" springs in the rear). the paragon coilover kit is a nice kit as well. on my 8" springs, I'm riding at the top of the ride height kit, and have a full 2" of additional downward travel. nice if i want to lower the car even more.

really the lowered height doesnt kill the balljoints, its mostly weak swaybars/springs letting the car lean alot when lowered that makes the balljoints die. If you lower it, make it stiffer as well.

M758------Man, that is low! But I gotta drive mine on Ohio roads .

joseph mitro-----Ditto to what XSBoost said. I have rebuilt the ball-joints with the SSI kits (brass instead of nylon bushings) and have Welt bushings and 968 casters on the a-arms. With the stiff springs and rebuilt balljoints, there is not enough play or suspension travel for me to worry about the balljoints smacking the ends of the a-arm and breaking the collar out. I will be keeping an eye on all of that, of course though. I tinker on the car so much that I will notice if any problems begin to arise. If, for some reason (which I doubt), I start to see problems, I'll get a set of the custom a-arms from Marcus B.
