215/60-15 is the stock size and I agree that better tires = better handling. If the antenna serves a purpose and you're ok with it, what do you care what other's think?

I actually used to run a magnetic mount antenna on my Turbo S. I used it during drives in small groups. Much easier to communicate between cars on the next turn or stop point among other things.
I did not leave it on the car, but did install/remove when needed. I think it is on all the time it is little redneck.
The tire sure do look redneck? Are you SURE they are 215/60 R15's They sure look bigger. I once saw a 944 with 235/75 R15's on it. Good lord! I put that size on my Jeep after I got it make the tires bigger!
"If you have a lift and big tires on your Porsche you just might be a redneck!"

Then again, a 944 'pickup' (rear hatch removed) might qualify

If you can use your pickup to TOW your house you just might be a redneck!
