Does it bait your hook and clean your catch?

You could've chosen Goodyear or Gates as well. Not to mention the many performance brands out there, such as Earl's. There's lots to choose from!

I have already tried many brands and they are very weak, the gates are the worst

What kind of fuel pressure are you running? 1500 psi? (LOL!) and how long do you run your hoses? I've know Gates and Aeroquip (my brand) have lasted over 10-15 years in normal service in both in gas and oil service. Not to mention hydraulics and diesel service. The hose that you pictured look good..if you are happy with them, run 'em. Thanks for pointing out the option, however.

Uh? I've used both Gates and Goodyear and they've worked great. In my years in the auto parts business I never heard of a problem with either brand.

I also have a '83 944 and Tempest has an'84...What are you doing to the car? Is it a total restoration? Are you using the new rubber lines near the fuel pump or in the engine bay? By what measure are you gauging that the other lines are weak? I can see seriously rotted/aged lines would be weak. Mine were, when I first got the car. But they've all been replaced now and I expect to get at least another 10 years or so out of them. Marine grade lines are probably just as good as they need to be to pass code. However, I'm unaware of any CG regs that would require special lines on a boat running the fuel pressures that we do on our cars. Please educate me on your requirements and parameters about this. Maybe I can learn something. Thanks.

Interesting fuel rail setup..Looks like you might have gone all the way back to the steel fuel lines with the "rubber" hoses for your install. Looks like a later model fuel rail setup. Looks nice and clean..Does your fuel rail cover contact the insulation pads under the hood? Is your car an automatic? I see the heat shield assy under the water pipe and just wondered. Seems like a good idea though, in any case. I have only seen the stock heat shield in the PET, yours appear double stacked. Is that a custom piece or is it stock?
Good pic..

Hi, thank you, my 944 is a 83-year manual, that plate is in PET number 13. I bought it at rosepassion.com, thank you.

It's a late fuel rail on an early car, just like the 924S came with.
