I like the Girots item, looks cool. I have always been able to find their "non in-house" items for cheaper though. So, I did a google search and found this in line filter at a site called Premiere Sales. Might have to be getting me one of these.......

It's not back for knocking off dirt, but with BAD tap water (like here in AZ) you will be changing those cartridges faster than recommended.

Some people have reported wax stripping with the included soap, but I have not seen it. It does a decent job on not spotting and a good job on cleaning. overall about a 7 out 10. (10 being professionally detailed, 1 being the local kids at the Burger King doing a car wash).

If your car has no wax on it (ask me how I found ths out) the soap Mr.Clean uses sticks to the paint. What a bitch that turned into.

I fill it up with either Meguiars car wash soap or Turtle Wax's deep wash stuff. Works great. That Mr. Clean soap is expensive when it’s not on sale.

Thats the whole idea. Thats why they practically give Mr Cleans away for free. So they can **soak** you on the consumables.

Seems like everyone is thinking it!

It's amazing how attached you can be to someone you've never met. I have never met IceShark, heck, I never even spoke with him! However, the mere fact that I read his posts makes me feel like I'm connected to him.

Does that sound strange?

For some reason I don't think I noticed that. But I'm happy I did, IceShark's presence is still missed around here.

As for the Mr. Clean system, I'm glad to hear others like it. I think I'm going to try a different soap when I run out of my starter bottle, they definitely try to keep you hooked into just buying that stuff, but I'd rather use a better soap like Meguiar's. The thing eats up soap real fast too.

I think my results were exceptionally good because we have very soft water here in the PNW, and I'm very grateful for that. Hopefully my filter lasts longer then too.
