Default Part number?

What is the part number for the hose under the radiator the connects it to the block. It's the hose with the thermostat inside, with the one end that has a really big neck. Thanks.

Looks like the number for an '85.5 + 944/S, lower rad hose, is 944 106 237 07. The number Chris posted shows in my PET book as correct for an '87-'88 924S.

It doesn't make any sense to me either???

the rad hose is different on the 85.5+ cars. it's longer by 2"

I had to replace the lower hose on an 84 because the radiator jumped out of it's rubber bumpers and rubbed on the power steering pulley. I got one off a doner 86 but it didn't fit. Had to buy the shorter one.

for reference.
83-85.0 - p/n 944-106-237-05
85.5-88 944/S - p/n 944-106-237-07
924S - p/n 944-106-237-06

944 106 031 03 for an 87 924S.

Mine shows 944 106 237 04 for the lower hose on a 1985.5 944.
The hose for an early 85 car is 944 106 237 01.

Early auto - 944.106.027.03
Late manual - 944.106.031.03

Hope it helps
