That green is sexy, but I would like to keep it in the Red family, and I would want to keep it to OEM Reds of which there are a few:

India
Gaurds
Arena
Rudby Red Metalic
Garnet
Zanzibar
Velvet
Orient
Amethyst
Korallen Red Metalic
Rasberry
Asterik Ruby
Zlyclamean Pearl

Did you use a 968 quarter glass on that digital rendering?

Nope....actually the window shape is straight off the plans for the '44. The 968 glass also has an extra black lip around it on the inside that the earlier '44 series doesn't have.

I'll have to add that when I get around to making a 968 out of it.....can anyone say 968 Turbo S?? Good....I knew you could....

Looks like an oil slick!

Hey I noticed the hood vent. I am thinking of putting a 931 vent on the hood. How hard is it to put on? Fibreglass meets metal... I am a body work novice obviously.

Okay...how about Guards Red now?

If you find any chips of the Zyclam (such as perhaps scanning a brochure with chips in it) I'd love to do one in that color. Getting colors from chips works much better than trying to pull color from images of the car. Sunlight, reflections, etc. all skew the true base color and it takes forever to figure out the right settings

Rats....now I just noticed one more thing I've got to fix.....the splitter was made to fit the old nose and I realized it didn't curve far enough back like the real one did.....so I've got to go fix that right now while I'm thinking about it!

Thanks...it's a good bit of work and a lot of research, but it's also a lot of fun for me to create them!

I'll be doing some more free wallpapers in the near future, so just keep watching for me to post. Probably in the next week or so. I also want to do some posters for sale so that we can have our beloved waterpumpers back on the walls with the rest of the fantasy car posters Need to find a few places and start comparing prices for doing prints. I also need to finish up the backgrounds before posting too much stuff with crappy backgrounds :P Right now the shot above is the highest res I've rendered that particular angle at. You can get a slightly older version in a wallpaper (1600X1200) at: http://pages.prodigy.net/need4speed/...reenwp1600.jpg It's big....400k big.

I love the model, however, how about investing in some big reds?
