Taking the automatic dampner out of the car is kinda tricky. You also have to manually connect the 2 wires that is by the shifter to be able to use your starter. I believe they are brown and it should take care of the non working starter. Congratulations. My converted 83 should see some track time this year.

Actually the 2wires next to the shifter on this 84 are red.
Parts list.\
flywheel, clutch, bell housing( the auto has the hole for the slave but the holes are not tapped for the bolts
tourque tube, shifter, insulation around the shifter, shifter rod, shifter
tranny(of course) cv joints(auto different lengths).
slave cylinder, master cylinder, clutch pedal and the rod it rides on plus the hardware, and the blue hose from the resevoir to the master cylinder.
