Question Why is this car so hot?

I know that 951's are known for giving off alot of heat and oozing it back into the cabin but I dont think what Im getting is normal. When I crank it all the way cold and dont have the A/C on it is really hot and nothing changes when I turn on the A/C either. After a while (maybe 7-10 minutes) the A/C will start to work but until then it feels like my face is going to be melted off. I figure if I have it set on the coldest setting i should be getting air that is the temp of the air outside. Is something wrong or is this how bad its supposed to be?

Search for "Heater clip". It's an easy fix. I'd post more but I have to leave for work right now.

Yup, sounds like the infamous heater clip failure...you're gonna have to shell out big bucks for that one ($2). LOL

Get under the driver's side dash, take off the plastic cover on the lower right side and look...is there a metal rod hanging freely? Then sure enough, all you need to do is replace the plastic clip that the rod attaches to.

Good luck.
