I have tried alot of stuff for cleaning my polished lips on my cookie cutters when I rolled on those back in the day, and polishing the chrome OZ rims on the work truck, and the best polishing product for metals is by far Eagle One Wadding Polish, It comes in a little silver tin, for like $5 or something....Some poeple wil say Flitz or some other stuff, and I will tell you right now that I have tried them all, and The wadding compound is by far the best...Try it..

my tip... get a little onto a clean soft rag, work it in, all over, and wipe clean. sometimes a super soft tooth brush works well. do it just like you wax your car.. work in, polish, rub, buff etc, and wipe off before it dries. your car will bling before no time.

Nevr-dull wadding polish. I used to use it on my boat a couple times a year and even sitting in salt water it would stay looking good for a few months. Find it at any boatyard, it's so good on stainless, brass, nickle and chrome that most marine supplies don't bother to carry anything else.

The handrails on my boat are 316L stainless. Saltwater was making them look like crap. That Nevr-dull wadding does work. I haven't had a problem since using it.

When I had a motorcycle I used a lot of Turtle Wax chrome polish and cheap toothbrushes.

Yup, My whole flybridge would sparkle (lots of stainless and chrome)! It even worked on the struts under the swim platform, I'd hit them with it before she went in in the spring and it would be a couple months before I'd see any growth there.

When your done, use glass cleaner to do a final clean. It works great for not leaving streaks.

Thanks guys. I went to Pep Boys and they made my decision really easy. Out of all the recomendations you guys gave me they only had the wadding stuff. Well it's working, (so I have a lot of polishing ahead of me) Thanks guys, I'll post pics in a few months once these wheels are nice and shiny
