Default Installed the new carpets in the 84 944

Wow what a diff these carpets made. I feel as tho the car is brand new again. The sunroof leaked sometime ago so the carpets were destroyed. I know I know its brown! Still neat and rare!

Does anyone recognize,-(SPELLING) these seats?? I have never seen these in a 944 before?

Here is the car they lie in.

I gotta say this car is much easier to handle around corners then the old S2.

Wow that looks good! Can you provide details as to where you got them, and are they domestic, German, etc.?

I am planning to replace the rear/trunk area carpeting in mine, and am not sure where to go first. I am very picky, and will be upset if I order carpet and it doesn't match the original stuff exactly (down to the pattern and spacing of the weave and stitching).

Thanks,

I bought this carpet from a fellow rennlister. Luckily it was the same carpet that was destroyed from getting wet. If u do a search I think there are a few posts on where to get carpet replacement. Altho I don't think it is going to be cheap BUT! well worth it.

That car looks absolutely fantastic. Those are the original, early-style sport seats as Dmitry said. The later sport seats are less blocky... but I really love the design of the early ones too.

In any case, I'm saving the last picture to remind me of what an early 944 should look like. You've got my two absolute favorite options there with the fuchs and the sports seats.... and that's one of the best color combinations I've seen in a while.

I hate to say it, but I almost like it better than my previous Platinum on Brown favorite combo!

Fantastic

The dash is not the greatest shape so I purchased a new dashcover from ebay. I can get it painted or leave it, I am not sure what I will do.
