Wow! Looks brand new in there! New carpet must make a huge difference in the way the car smells too!? Nice and fresh? Great job. Was it a PITA to do, or was it easy after you take the seats out?

Can you tell us where you got the carpet or did you get it from a private party?

Thanks

Looks great! Just curious, is it possible to do any additional soundproofing while doing this job. Has anyone done any type of soundproofing on their cars?

I would think so but it comes with really think underlay so I don't know how much more u could squeeze under there without raising the carpet to high.

Yah big diff in smell! That old musty is gone YAY!!! Ripping the carpet out was really easy. It was so old and dead from being wet to often that the glue rotted away and the carpet tore out in chunks NP. I was a little concerned about sliding the front piece back under the dash, but I am telling you god was on my side that day it went like a dream

Thanks again all for the compliments!
If any of you are close by and need help to do this I would be happy to help out.

Those carpets are inspirational! Are they factory originals or repo's? If repo's, who made them? The whole world wants to know!

WOOHOOO! THE SUN HAS COMEOUT! Looks like I can finish installing the seat finally! I am also getting the car repainted this summer, the same colour of course. She should be perfect then.

Enigne was recently done. Full compression across the board, new belts, rollers, front and rear seals, water pump, and injectors. Runs like a top.

Can I install my old S2 exhaust on this machine?? That is the only thing really lacking at the moment.

All I can say: Wow! I have had a '82 924 with a brown interior, while looking a bit 'dated' its still very nice looking indeed! Those new carpets are going to be high on the wishlist as of now

I really love your car, I wouldn't have thought I'd ever say that about a brown on brown car Your pics also really makes me wanna have Fuchses again (Sold them for the money some time ago... )
