How many people have done a belt/pump job? The more experience available the more that can get done. I am not bringing my car (It's in TEXAS) but I do have my belt guage and my flywheel lock with me. I have done two complete belt/pump jobs, and I think it can be done in 4-5 hours, provided all goes well. I am willing to help someone work on their car.

I just want to remind everyone that this is a driving event. So we dont' want people drinking and driving. Its intent is to help people so they can do certain work on their cars. We dont' want to have to decide who is ok to drive home.

tinman844 of course you are welcome. TJbreen pm'd me pic of his driveway and I'm definetly sure we can fit alot of cars in it. What will you be driving?

On the food subject I was thinking bbq might be the easiest way to go. I know I can probably bring a small gas grill and some steak, and I'm sure Tom has one at his house. If any of you have one it would be a great idea to bring it.

I guess the amount of cars to get done will depend on the tools that we have.

Pete I put you down as bringing the Flywheel lock and belt gauge if thats alright.

I've got one, but no way in hell I can bring it. Big ******.

But I'll see if I can't smoke some ribs or something before hand.

I have a grill and seating for about a dozen people if it is not raining.

Parking shouldn't be a problem if everyone parks head or tail in. See the attached photo.

Are people more interested in getting their cars worked on or seeing how it is done? If it takes 4 to 5 hours each, I am not sure how many we can complete. If we have a lot of people coming to see how to do specific things, we should think about organizing tech sessions.

I'm mostly going to be a beer-drinking spectator. I'll bring whatever tools I have to play with, though (krikit, P9201, other random stuff.

Since you rennlisters have been so good to me over the last few months , I will donate one set of the special tools that you might need (locking bar, 24 mm wrench, 27mm wrench, krikit, flywheel lock) as a door prize. The host (T Breen) can decide how the winner is chosen.

Someone needs to email me a shipping address...BruceArnn@Arnnworx.com

Riff I hope you can attend it'll be good to put faces to names. As for my car getting done I would be just as interested to learn how to do it. My car isn't due for belts for another 8k miles or so, I just had them checked in july and re-tightend.

I missed the change of date - I'll still try to make it - I'll just be a spectator as my belts were just done. I think we have a small portable BBQ.
