since nobody is answering (I'm no expert AT ALL)
but: i would imagine there is no procedure. i think it would be like breaking in anything; you don't want to be immediately hard on it b/c often times thats the quickest way to find a problem. i don't know what those problems would be? if there are any? I'd think that if you're easy on it for a hundred miles you'll be pretty sure there isn't anything misaligned

if i were you and i was worried about it i would wait for more replies for sure.

Not too worried about it, however, if there is something that helps I'd like to know about that. It's not a fun job to do(apparently) or to pay for! Thanks for the response porschefig.

Breaking procedure for the clutch.... sure...

First... I would say hold the revs at 5800 rpm.................... and drop the clutch

that should break something for you.

There is no breaking in procedure. Don't abuse it for the first few miles and then things should be fine.

What clutch did you get? I'm curious because I have to do the clutch as well.

I got the spring centered sachs unit. I'll be sure to go to all the ricer hangouts and start droppping the clutch if you think that would help. Thanks for the suggestion!

When I broke in my clutch, I was told to run it for around 500 miles of 'city driving' before racing it. Just do not go out onto the highway and go across state. I did not rev it up and drop the clutch, just was real careful engaging and shifting for the first 50 miles or so. Then once I was sure I put the clutch in right, I just drove it normal. A week later I took it out to Mid-Ohio and it performed excellent (cept for the body rolled so much it hit the tires). Just do not be stupid with it and you should be fine.
