I got up early this morning (aka 11 am) to head up to dayton to check out 944pete's new house and hang out w/ some fellow ohio rennlisters. The turnout was pretty good w/ tifo, sean Mc manus, chris924s, his son and chris'chick, dave944, wade and his lady friend all coming out to hang for the day. Chris was in the garage giving advise on what to and not to do during an oil change, while the rest of us were drinking heavily and watching some porsche vids, as well as trying to beat pete's record on need for speed porsche unleashed. here are some pics from the gtg.

i believe he had a clitch in the order of the oil change procedure, something to do w/ the oil drain plug part.

 

Wish I could have been there. All that garage talk though is over my head. Just point me toward the beer and playstation. Im still recovering from that friggin debacle in Buffalo I went to as my Flyers got HOSED BY THE REFS against DePaul. I was too tired and angry to make it today.

first tuesday of every month there are porsche entusiasts gtg's @ dave and busters off of 275 in tricounty= 7pm - ??? First meet is april 6th.

Yep. The Old Exxon Valedz sprung a leak with the captain at tha helm. At least I didnt have to clean oil off of any wildlife.

I think was givin Tifo some crap about his car not being there because a cloud was in the sky (It DID rain quite hard for a while) while doing an oil change.. I was LMAO until I realized the drain plug was on the floor as I was just finishing up pouring in 5 new quarts of Mobil1 5w30.. So the oil all over Pete's floor is NEW- at least it wasnt dirty oil.

I REALLY have done an oil change before- I swear..

Harry I tried to call you yesterday- you werent around- Saturdays off HUH!?? I bet it's crazy in Cowlumbus with NCAAB going on..

Btw- Sean McManus really DOES look like groundskeeper Willie from the Simpsons..

 

oh jeeze. i could undestand if it was draining the oil taht did that (first time i did the porsche it came out much faster than i expected...) but forgoto to put the plug in? lol you din't here it pouring out. jeez

 

Devon- there was a LOT of laughing going on.. I didnt realize it until I had just emptied the 5qt jug into my "Wholly open" oilpan..

Special thanks goes out to Tifo for taking Patti and Kyle to Walmart to pick up ANOTHER 5qt jug of Mobil1 while I was under the car as well as having a few Warsteiners..
