Question Runs rough after warming up?????

Last night on my way home my 87 S started idleing very irratic. The rpms were all over the place, surging from 500-3000. When I was crusing it was pretty good, but at the traffic lights it was terriable. It would sound like it would stall but never did. If I keep the idle aboue 3000 rpm(with foot on gas) It stays smooth.

Could be a vacuum leak. When given throttle the vacuum builds up again smoothening things out. Happened not to long ago on my 924S...i spent a good 3 days looking for cracked hoses or anything loose, ended up being a blown intake manifold gasket.

When the engine was completley warmed up the idle would be real erratic going from 1200 to 850 rpms...sometimes it would just sit at about 2000rpms.
