Gas is the way to go. Got me a Yokomo GT-4 Porsche. Hauls ***. I'm selling my Electric car with 2 speeds etc. 40mph but the battery last like 2 minutes.

That's cool, but have you seen these?

Someone stepped on my car , but i'll get it fixed up and painted the same color as my car. I couldn't believe that they made this. It's actually a 924S turbo. If anyone wants one i'll pick a few up next time i go to Japan town.

I'm flattered.

Hey, I wonder if My CVS has one. I'm looking for a 944 body for another project I am playing with. What scale is it? How much was it?

i used to have one of those that matched my supra, ice blue met. w/ five spoke rims....as a matter of fact, what happened to that thing?

tifo- well, its about the same size body as a regular model car would be or as you could see, a regular sized die cast car. I dont think it was more than ten bucks, but dont bother buying the batteries cuz as an rc car it sucks, forward and reverse turns the wheels, batteries last about ten minutes. I just tend to collect strange bits of memorabilia.

Hey Tifo, if you can't find one at your CVS, I have a euro 951 body that I could make a mold of and cast you a body. I think it's about 1/10 or 1/12 scale. If you're interested, shoot me a PM and I can snap some pictures for you.

What is CVS? I have been looking for a 200mm 1/10th scale 944 body for my R/C car too.

Hey Ryan – My first car (in 1969) was a red mid 60s Datsun Roadster 1500cc. I think it was a 65. I think it was called a fairlady. It was a family hand me down, it was my sisters and when she got married and moved away it was given to me. It was a great little car until someone rear ended me and turned it into an accordion. I still drove it crushed up for a few more weeks until getting something else. A few years later my father bought himself a yellow or maybe it was kind of cream colored, 1600cc Datsun roadster. They made a 2000cc version that was real nice.

The roadsters are a lot of fun. Most people have never seen one in real life and I swear everytime I go to get gas in that car i'll end up talking to someone for about 10 minutes. I get a lot of thumbs up and people yelling things out their car that they like it etc.

It's 2000 Pounds with 140 HP. It moves well!!!! Mine is the 2000, 2.0 liter version. If anyone else owns one, or just wants to check some out there is a big meet in Solvang, CA next month. I hear Solvang is a romantic town that the wives love to go to. Lots of little shops they can check out etc.

Ryan your Roadster looks great. Boy that brings back some fond memories. How much is one of those worth now? Has yours been restored or is it just still in that good of a condition. How many miles are on it?

Kevin, It's in really good condition. I'm not sure of the milage. I'm sure its up there though. The car runs great. It's very smooth. I've seen some really nice ones for as much as $8000. I think mine would be worth about 4k.

Ryans, what mAH rating battery are you using? That would likley explain the run time you are getting. I have 2600mAH and 3600mAH rated batteries (2 sets of each actually) and get anywhere from 10-12 minutes on my brushless TC3. And that thing hauls serious ***.

I dont think a 944 body was ever made for R/Cs to my knowledge, I did however once see a 914 lexan body for the smaller sized R/Cs, maybe 1/18(24) scale? Its the same scale as the HPI RS4 Micro. I think the closest thing we will ever get to the 944 style body is the Infini RX-7 that Yokomo is releasing for their drifting line of products.

And CVS is a drugstore chain, not sure where they are primarily located but they are all overy the place in the Metro NY (including Long Island) area.

Hey, where exactly did you get that Carrera GTS? Are you talking about the little Japan town in San Jose?
