Paint question

Can anyone tell me if the rubber seals for removable top panel on these are painted from factory or not. Trying to figure out if this is a repaint

That's definitely overspray. The sunroof seal is black felt.

I concur, definitely overspray. And it appears all of the felt around the seal is pretty much gone. Mine is as well. Pretty common with age or when someone buffs the sunroof too aggressively.

mazda took the words out of my mouth- when I buffed a year or so ago I moved a lot of the red from the roof into this crack and permanently stained the felt red. Annoying and it looks exactly like overspray!
