Anyone tried this? I saw a website that had a whole procedure on completly refinishing a dash in this stuff but I can't find it now. My dash has little cracks at the vents starting to head for the glass. This happened while I was deployed to Southwest Asia and the car sat for better part of a year. So what I want to do is stop the cracks from getting any bigger. Open to any suggestions.

I was going to use SikaFlex on my dash. It's the black non-petroleum based rubbery stuff they use on windshields. It doesnt outgas, can pick up a design pattern (say leathergrain) and will never fully cure. It stays pliant, but retains it's shape. It takes armor-all well.
I'm a little askeered tho. I donna wanna f up my dash. I live with the cracks under the dash cover.

i used fiberglass resin, then when it dried i sanded it down flat and sprayed the dash with some stuff that they sell at autozone. The stuff is called trunk bed liner it covers really good with a good texture i plan on sanding it down again with a really soft sandpaper. i'll post some pics
