I talked to them in the parts department at mine. Rick Hill Imports in Kingsport, TN. If they still feign ignorance, have them give those guys a call.

LOL....lots of "wrong" people to talk to at the dealership

Other's have said yes, but I'll also answer. Yes, the dealer can get you a new key cut from the factory specs using your VIN number and proof of ownership.

I highly recommend it, the key is ~$30 and you have a choice of a standard head for like $5 or the lighted head for $20. And it takes them about 3-4 days to get the key in.



I opted for the lighted head. But just looking at the differences between the two keys, it's unbelievable that my 21 year old factory key still operated the car.
