Default Pinion Bearings

I am replacing the pinion and carrier bearings on my 951 transaxle. For the pinion bearings the Porsche part numbers are PCG 311 220L for the front, and PCG 311 375F for the rear. The bearing numbers are 549 677 front, and 537 598 rear, both brand ***.

I know that the prices are crazy, the cheapest I've been able to find is at Rose Passion for about $510 before shipping for both. Does anyone know of a less expensive supplier before I buy them?

Yes, they are very expensive. These days, they are available only from Porsche and are made under contract for Porsche. I buy a lot of bearings directly from European distributors, the 944 bearings are not available from them or other wholesale sources.

T&T, thank you for the mention.
