for me: 1-Day Paint in National City.

They are doing 2 more 944s too, not including mine in that! Looks like a small cult of them in the shop.

790 bucks, I got some free prep work in there too, like refilling and free front spoiler fill and repair.

$800 at Maaco. They are stipping the fender stickers, etc. Should be ready by Thurs. Not looking for a perfect job, just want to freshen up the car. They are pulling all the small dents, etc as well.

I had a bad experience at Maaco years ago - they charged me $2000 to repaint a firebird I had - looked nice when done, but they used a sh1tload of body filler to the point that it started cracking after a year. Plus the floorboards were trashed and ended up rotting out - they never mentioned that in their "initial estimate" - that ultimately killed the car and I junked it. Be wary of Maaco - i'd make a prediction that their body shop monkeys will grind the sucker down to the metal and kill all your galvizing / corrosion protection unless you keep close eyes on them! They're used to spraying Camrys and stuff, I seriously doubt Porsches!
