Question testing injectors - xposted

Hi Fellas,

Was doing a procedure for my website. (Gleaned from the workshop manual) for testing injectors.

Well I got a prob. Firstly, I have no probs running or starting the car ! I can test for voltage as the manual says, but when I try and check for this "6 ohms" from the 5 pin plug of ballast resistors and terminal 2 of each fuel injector plug's I only see open circuit !

I've tried all combinations of pins, and I sometimes see 3.5ohms, but from the proper point I see "open" I've tested the resistance across the injector and get 2.5 ohms as correct.

I've got 2 pictures uploaded, pls have a look and tell me if I'm being a div !

cheers

I haven't had to test my injectors yet so I don't know much about your tests. It seems that reading ohms through the injector leads would give you less than one ohm since the injector is essentially a solenoid.

I know there is a procedure on the Pelican website that you might like to refer to.
