Default Timing gear cover bolt size

Good evening all. Can’t seem to find the data I’m looking for. I took one of the flange bolts from the timing gear cover and probably lost it in an effort to go buy another one. Does anyone happen to know offhand what size that bolt is? This is the camshaft timing gear cover bolts. The metal cover that holds the distributor.

TIA!

M6 x 30mm PN 900 074 015 02 according to the PET. Assuming you're working on an 8 valve motor

To the OP I'd recommend downloading the PET for quick and ready reference. I have it on my computer at home, on my computer at work for lunchtime research, and a hard copy the in the garage. t's in valuable!

Bit of stiff copper wire often works for me with non critical bolts 😀. Probe hole, pinch wire in fingers, measure, knock a bit off. Decide if it’s M5,6,8 (clue bigger holes rattle more). But yes I do use the PET when I want to be more elegant.
