ohhh.. haha i though "imported" meant from over seas or something.
I keep forgetting that canada is attached to us...but not really a part of us.
you know?

Edge,

Did you take the bill of sale into the U.S customs to let them know you are exporting the car? Canada customs doesn't care but if you ever want to import the car back into the States it could be a problem.

Not that you will ever sell it....

Most 951 clutches should have fairly soft travel. I did test drive a 951 once though when looking for my first PCar and it was the heaviest thing I ever laid my foot on. I actually got foot cramps and had to switch feet and press it with my right foot on occasion (not recommended) until my left foot recovered from complete muscle atrophy. I think it needed replaced. Bad.

Now than I think about it, it was the first 951 I ever drove. I thought jesus, I hope they arent all like this. They werent.

Nice! But, you know, I can read the plate number through the photoshop...

As for campeck, pay attention in class!

Yeah, I know, usually "imported" is used by marketers trying to sell Belgian and Dutch beer. They never talk about US beer as being "imported".

Sweet looking 951! Just what i would want the one i'll buy someday to look like

You mentioned the belts were just done one week ago. Don't forget about the 1500 mile retension, or i guess you guys dont use miles huh? This just ensures that once the belt is used for awhile and loosens up it still stays witin spec.

Enjoy!
Erich

I guess nobody has driven a Mustang 5.0 with manual transmission. I can break diamonds with my left leg now.

In the Bahamas they do! Did a double-take at the "Imports" list of Bud, Miller Light, etc.

my friend had a mint 85 5.0 mustang, and it had one heck of a heavy peddle. After driving that thing for 10 minutes, my leg was tired and cramped up.

Actually, that wasn't even the hardest I've driven yet. A championship-winning FFR Spec Cobra with a racing-duty clutch was the worst. After a little spirited driving for 5 minutes, my leg was shaking as I held the clutch down coasting it back into my old shop's bay.

...but I'm not complaining, it was the most fun I've had on a public street yet!

AND the same car that I helped build....

...went on to win the 2003 Factory Five Racing championship in November, driven by my boss Bryan...

Sorry to go off topic, I just love those FFR Cobras!!

Yes I think it is a spring center clutch, I was just at 944S2NUTS house and all his 944s of various models have the same clutch feel among them, then mine is different form all them... Works for me, from my quick comparison I much prefer the feel of mine.

Yes I imported into Canada. The US customs people didnt take the US plates so I still have them. The US Customs people were also overpaid fat disgusting slobs. Seriously you Americans should be ashamed and worried you have such people protecting your boarder.

Yes it was a dealer, Porsches, Lotus', NSXs, Rolls, all kinds of stuff.

I am Canadian (I grew up in Vancouver) and I find the U.S customs MUCH better then the Canadian side. The only things the Canadians care about is if you are bringing anything they can tax you on. The last three times I have crossed the border they have not even asked for I.D.

In the US building there were prolly 20 agents... How many were doing actual work? Maybe 3... And I was in there for 30 min at least.
