A car will run forever if cared for properly. Wear and tear items need attention but what do you expect?

I'd rather buy a 200K car that was loved and cared for than a 50K car that was used and abused...

My Jeep has 178K and still looks new. I bought my old Volvo with 180K on the clock and it was one of the best used cars I've ever owned. My Fiero was aquired at 114K and very clean and reliable.

Keep the fluids changed (ALL, not just oil), chassis greased, bearings packed, silicon spray for all the rubber/vinyl, wash under carriage and don't park in the sun too much and you'll be fine.
