Default 1st MEMBER post! Simple body panel ?

Finally paid the dues! Feels good to get rid of that nagging guilt in the back of my head as I cruised Rennlist.
I have an oppurtunity to buy an '86 944 NA sans motor and auto tranny, burgundy interior is excellent and body panels are in good shape. I've always admired the 944 look and have thought about trying to switch out my 924S panels for them. How hard is this to do/get done? Also it would seem that my wheels would be too far in if I were to do this, would spacers allow my wheels to fill out the wells? Thanks.

fenders, pretty simple, bumpers, will fit, wheels, just use the wider 944 late offset and they should work, quarters, some panels and some welding..my advice, get the 924 gt racing kit.

I wonder why "Member" isn't showing in my profile-I'm all proud now!

My car is already late offset as is yours btw. Yeah I really like the GT look, I can get these panels for almost nothing though, maybe I'll wait for the GT, since I'll need to paint after, man I could I spend 15k in a flash!

You'll have email John or Jenn D to request that they insert "member" under your call sign. That was how I got it done on mine according to the membership set-up instructions.
