Personally, i like the flairs, its about time we could see the hips again. The 996 hips are too integrated. I want to see width!!! Headlights look good, i hope the markers are still disguised or tapes up or something. I think the mirrors look cool. I think the bumper has that "old 911 smile" kinda. Its coming soon, i wonder what the final will look like!

 

Not a fan of the mirrors. The cabiro top needs to go away. The rockers look a bit funny, but OK. I really like the flairs!

 

Looks like a mix of a 993 and then New Beetle..

 

Love the headlights. They were my favorite part of the 993, and I'm excited to see that they're at least considering bringing them back.

 

I don't think it's very exciting looking -- starting to look like the Audi TT or somethingelse -- hard to see any lineage with the classic 911s.

Headlights are very nice but I wish the fenders leading into the headlights were a little more pronounced

Mirrors look like they came off the latest Celica (please go back to the 968 mirrors)

Overall the car looks much more muscular than the 996

Sorry, I don't like, I'd prefer a 993 anyday.
However, if Porsche want to give me one so that I can form a better educated opinion of the new model, my address is..........

 

It's definately an improvement to me. While the 996 is starting to grow on my, it feels to bland to be a 911. I understand why they did away with the wide fenders and such, but still, it doesn't inspire the same passion that I haven't seen since the 993.

I also think it looks like a beetle, but that may be because of the photo angle so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. As for the black rims, maybe it's just for the prototype.

 

Another pic that I've seen also makes the front look like a New Beetle. The rear looks good, they just really need to "un-round" the front, make the angles a little sharper or something.

 

It's the bug, but alot faster, and oh yea $$$.
