Mounted some anchors for the belts. Seats go back in this week.

Is the *Zyclamrot car a.k.a. 'Wilson'/re; the car
these 'Wilson' thread/s are referring to?
If so, Wilson looks fantastic.
It's a street car right?
**i assume it's street legal.
It appears Wilson got a full roll cage. Why?
Was the front roofline bar which brought about the need for a
harness and Hans/helmet removed?
Are you OCD, because i'm looking for such type to take the Sledgehammer
for a few months, and solve a coupl'a few gremlins she's got.
You can take her out for a spin/a night on the town after
and drive it as fast as you dare
or ~193mph (whichever comes first).

*Why didn't the 944's in Zyclamrot come in the totally insane
Zyclamrot Metallic like the 928's?

"Zyclamrot". I once had to have that discussion with a lady.
Hah!
Seriously-I had to look up the colour you are referring to. Mmmmm the 928.... my favorite looking Porsche in that lovely colour!
That car appears to be made by a higher power than mankind.
I wanted a fun sexy colour and picked a "rot" looking colour... but in retrospect I wanted more purple in it.. It's tough to pick from a one inch square in a colour selection book. Sometimes it looks brown, but usually red... Either way, thank you for the compliment! I have painted Wilson white, blue, rot and it was black when I got the car.
I think Sledgehammer would have me ordering a v8 for Wilson. V8 engines are great. I had a chance to drive a v8 trans-am or fire chicken on the back roads and I really enjoyed spinning tires without revving it up.... just gotta love the torque down low.
Too bad we weren't neighbours.
Oh, and I no longer have a roll cage. It's just a roll bar. And I'm running the harnesses, but might install 3 point belts as well.

Thank you, Noah.
i was driving through Dover, Mass yesterday toward the stables
on North Street in Medfield, (think Lexington, KY in miniature)
and a 944 passed me...... i was so surprised to see such a clean car (like yours).
i wonder if he was surprised by a 968 sporting a late 90s looking front
valence and v8 "foom."
With its over-square bore/stroke, and 'very-taming' straight thru exhaust pipes
my v8 is surprisingly smooth and quiet.
Nothing like a typical pickup truck (cue Voith), nor aftermarket "burble"
while coasting: Just a clean, "foom....." in 4th gear at ~50mph.

When coasting downhill, i might pop 'er into 5th (engine rendered near silent)
thru the Dover twisties--the neighbors kinda like it that way......
passing Bobby Orr's former residence (pre-Eagleson debacle),

Well, after spending all day installing seats I decided to make a tool for next time.
Odurandina-so nice of you to call my car "clean" but aesthetically its pretty rough (my paint job sucks).

Noah - are you on FB? There was a guy in Alberta looking for 944 headers, thought maybe you still had your Stahls.

IIRC he had a set a few years ago before the turbo madness took over.
Dunno if they were fabricated into something else or what though, thought maybe he still had em.

Spencer & Justin,
Yes I'm on FB. But the long stahl headers are long sold.
Thank you and sorry
Tell him to try Mantis in Ontario. That's where I bought them from.

Yes , Ernie at Mantisport rounded up the last of the steel headers from Stahl when they closed down.I was lucky enough to buy mine just before they shut down ...
Although , he's probably asking a pretty penny for them if he still has any left , otherwise it''s Racer's Edge who sells the stainless version for a gazillion dollars !

Cheers
Phil

I am the proud owner of Noah's Stahl Headers. He painted them, boxed them well, and sent them across the border. His price was very reasonable but the shipping was $$$$$!
Bottom line, the Stahl's were a lot cheaper than Racer Edge SS ones. There is a company ACL ....located in PA that has the templates for Stahl. At the 2018 PRI show in Indy, Ernie, from Mantis, was talking with the ACL engineer
