I think that would kinda look weird with one strip across the front...that belongs to the 911...it just wouldnt suit the car....but prove me wrong, maybe it would look good it done properly.

Do the mod, the pic's don't do the mod justice, updates the look of the front by like 10yrs...If your concerned about keeping the stock look, than don't....I by no means am trying to go for the stock look...

Also I would recommend welding the bracket after you remove the rivets. Just to be safe..

Thanks for the input. As you know, I'm not opposed to non-factory gear on my car. I've made up my mind to do it. Especially with a splitter, I think it will look great. You certainly can't beat the price when you're getting ready for a full re-spray anyway.

...And it gives me a chance to play with my welder. Thanks again for the pics, all.

Mrmunky's car has a mustache.

Hey, Friendan, do you have any other pictures of that black car with the black wheels? Is it really even black? It looks almost like a mirror.

Damian, you should start using photoshop or some other program with a good image resizing filter. Even your avatar image has tons of aliasing jaggies.

Actually this last set you just posted looks fine. But you can see what I mean in your avatar and some of the earlier pictures, right? Like, the lines look all jaggedy instead of smooth.

Lead Foot- nice pics- thanks, BUT- how do you open your hatch now? If your's is one of the electric ones, like mine, it would stick 99% of the time & you'd STILL have to use the key- IF manual, I'm not sure- I wish mine were manual, nonetheless, b/c if the battery goes down, & the passenger handle manual over ride wont open, then, you have to break in to get into your car... Anyway...

Well, I guess if you never open it, then it probabaly doesn"t matter, but, for us normal people....

Damian's car doesn't look that high in the rear- just a touch- like maybe 1/8"= the eccentric T-bar adjustments will give you PLENTY enough room for that- don't even think about letting someone tell you you'll have to reindex or something- UNLESS you've ALREADY adjusted them as low as they'll go, which I HIGHLY doubt.... Good looking car...
