and oh yeah, are the msds headers for a 951 as well? because on the picture on the site the headers are next to a 944 with the turbo valence....

I've used a Bursch header and test pipe for over 17 years on an 84! No fitment issues. No rust, corrosion or other issues EXCEPT: the exhaust note isn't particularly to be desired. A little raspy and whoooshy with stock exhaust. I don't know if all headers are equal in terms of exhaust note... just a heads up for you.

I bet the SFR headers and intake manifold combined with their exhaust sound amazing!

OK, let's see if this will work... here's a link to an AVI file which might give you some idea of the sound of a Bursch header & cat pipe, stock muffler at idle....

IMO, your OE header is quite good and an aftermarket header would not be a very cost effective mod.

From my experinece on 944-spec cars where headers are free I concour with Carl.

OE header is quite good for stock cars. Unless you are planing this header in conjunction with alot of other hardware it won't get you anything. If your factory one is busted and can't be fixed then it makes sense to look for a new one. Do however consider used stock ones in your search.
