Default Odd PS pump 'bracket'

Remounting my power steering pump and I took a good look at the way it is mounted. Looks to have a bracket that partially wraps around the pump that includes two holes at the top for a long bolt and the mount at bottom for tensioner. Still has the two spacers. It didn't seem right so I looked online and have found none that looked similar. Is this someones work around for missing stud or stripped hole or is it stock?
It had washers to help fill the space on the aluminum mount on engine (where the two spacers go). If I don't put the washers in the whole thing tightens up and is held only by where the front spacer bottoms onto. I guess it has support from the back spacer but it doesn't tighten to anything. Will swing freely when the tensioner adjustment moves.

thats not stock.
somebody made that for whatever reason...it looks beefy!

the only bracket the PS pump gets is that little triangular one on your 3rd photo that is shown in front of the "aftermarket" bracket.

Ok thanks. It works but now I know why the under engine tray I bought needed to be 'modified' under the PS pump. Is it normal to have the pump pivot locked on only the front arm and the back one supporting but not clamped?

OK thanks. I read that link and it matches what I see. I'll just put it back together so it clamps only on the front of the mount

Had to take the pump out again and reseal it. Hoped changing the reservoir would stop the pump noise on the first few minutes of use(no such luck). Now I know why it has the added bracket. PO must have run it over a curb as the belt tensioner has been repaired and the corner it mounts to is broken. I think I would have just bought another pump; it seems WAY too much work to make the bracket. But, lasted for years as it is, so I will use it.
