1987 944 base inner windshield trim that the rubber seal snaps into is completely destroyed. Can it be replaced without removing the windshield? Also, does anyone know where to buy it?

Are you talking about #9? 94455954302, it's listed as the windshield frame. Looks like it might be available at a couple places online, but I haven't looked extensively. Could find someone with a part out or I might be able to grab you one from a junkyard. I need to, but I haven't replaced the windshield on my 944 yet, but I would imagine the windshield would have to come out. Someone who has done it would know though. Anyone done a windshield R&I?
