OT: Guess That Car
#691
thanks, for some reason I can pick out the shapes of those cars, hmmm... (Ok i'll admit, I am in love with the 74 Alfa Romeo GT Veloce (GTV) !)...
Regarding #545 there were only 7+ versions of that car built - doubt if they were produciton - and it's from Bremen, Deutschland, early fifties. I happen to own two of the grocery getter trucks that they produced by this company (late fifties-early sixties). they bit the big one in '61 (the owner bit it in '63).
not this particluar one, but one green, one red:

deni durrell: Those are some interesting trucks! Do they run? Do you drive them? do lots of people look at you? what other interesting cars and trucks do you own?
DaveGordon you score a point for #560! 1939 Bugatti Type 57SC Ghia Coupe is what I have down. Can't believe you've actually been there!
TonD: Thanks for the pic of that crazy Mantra with the 951 bumper. Now to affix a 951 bumper on my car...
EVERYONE

Cars that are still unnamed!
#390 page 42
#480 page 44

Lets slow things down, no more new cars until all are guessed or we throw in the towel on those.
I say re-post all of the cars that have no guesses. Paging back to find them can be a PIA on a non-super fast connection.
If my idea sucks, nevermind.

Z-Man: you get another point for #580! a 1928 Mercedes-Benz SSK RENNwagen (lovely name)
Unfortuntely Alex Cook got #490 right away, a 1968 Lamborghini Islero 400 GT
oh man, that's a lot of work. I'll see what I can do for the others, but here are mine that are unaccounted for:

#480 is driving me nuts.
EDIT - Is it the Lamborghini Marzal concept car?
2nd Edit - VW-Porsche Tapiro - FAIE: Ital Design produced this concept which was built
on a Porsche 914 chassis. Much of the design appeared as the ill-fated
DeLorean.

Ken D - 17 Points!
Great job on #570, the 1961 Maserati 3500 GT Cabriolet (It could very well be bodied by Vignale)
Hacker-Pschorr Very impressive automotive knowledge! That's more information than I know!
You now have 12 Points and are a force to reckon with
1970 Italdesign Tapiro Concept
