OT: Guess That Car
#707
Ok, I admit I stumbled across the last one when following up the 'supercars.net' URL on the pic.
But I know #550 - Mercedes-Benz 150 Sport Roadster. Remember that baby from the M-B museum in Stuttgart

Alex Cook - You got 2 more points! That was pretty sneaky, but I'm sure you are not the first one to follow up on the URL. How does one do that by the way? I right clicked to properties but it wasn't there.
Anyway, there are plenty of cars that no one has guessed the names of on the previous page (they were re-posted)
But for now here's car #600!

Z-Man, #480 is VW-Porsche Tapiro - FAIE: Ital Design produced this concept which was built on a Porsche 914 chassis. Much of the design appeared as the ill-fated DeLorean.
Do I get points for saying #620 is NOT a Scarab?
I keep missing posts by not checking this thread every 10 minutes. DAMN!!!

This thread won't die
I love it!
OK here are my guesses for a few late entries:
#390 Austin Healy Sprite LeMans racer (exact year and model, unknown)
#480 Bertone concept car - early 70s (model unknown)
#600 Cord (as with all these guesses - I'm too lazy to research the exact model and year)
#610 Not at all sure. The nose badge looks like BMW, the sticker on the side resembles Maserati. The body work says British garage.
#620 I want to say Lola - but it does also resemble Lotus. This car looks like a purebred racecar in the finest British tradition.
I am off to AZ for a few days to test drive some vehicles at our test track. Since this thread has nearly spun out of control - I will post some truely wild-*** cars when I return (assuming, I remember, and this thread still has legs)

Impressive automotive knowledge! You are correct about the 1970 Italdesign Tapiro Concept!
Haha, I'll give you half a point for that, in which you are still a leader in the points!
Haker-Pschorr - 13.5 Points!
Scott at Team Harco - Alright! You got the infamous car #390! My sources call it a 1960 Austin-Healey Sebring Sprite.
and #600 a 1935 Cord 812
Scott at Team Harco - You now have 8 Points! You tied and then broke the tie with Mossy with 7 Points. Great job!
Good job Stu Waterman, you got a difficult one. You are correct, #620 is a 1964 Cooper King Cobra. You're on the charts!
