I was gonna say it looked like that hose clamp got in the way. I'd spin it 180 on that intake hose just to make sure gravity & vibration doesn't make it do the same thing again (plus it probably could use to be tightened some as gravity + vibration obviously could move it some).
Good work .

That did the trick guys!!! All of you are my HEROS. Great work. God bless Rennlist.
Im so proud of myself. This is about the most technical thing Ive done on my car other than washing it and replacing a turn signal bulb once. There may be hope for me yet. Im not scared. That was actually kind of easy. I just didnt know where to look but at least I know a throttle cable, throttle spring etc now.

Hey, I started out like you (zero experience), though admittedly mechanically inclinded, when I started on a clutch job! If you have people guiding you through the process, nothing mechanical is really that complicated. Good job!

No doubt on the fog lights! I will post photos tonight or tomorrow.
I got as far as this:
1. Unscrewed each end (one screw each) and the end fog plastic housing comes off.
2. After those are off, there were about two long screws under each one, one one side the screws are further apart. I could get most of those off, but I could not get all the screws off on the other side where they are closer together. Its like they are stripped.
3. I could tug on the entire fog light assembly and it would pull out a little on the side where all the screws were out.
4. I couldnt figure out a way to just get the front main foglight plastic off so I figured you gotta pull out the whole housing, unlike the parking lights which you just remove the plastic and screw the bulb in. Eventually I gave up.
I was also gonna replace the headlights, but I couldnt figure out how to keep the headlights up with the car turned off, yet with the parking lights off too. Only thing I didnt try was to turn the car off with the headlights up. I had turned car off, turned headlighhts to 2nd position to turn headlights off, but parking lights stayed on. If I turn further the headlights go down.
I'm an embarrassment to Rennlist I know. What can I say. I can build computers but not so much as anything on a car. I look at something sand say "WTF". Wait, I know throttle cables and throttle springs!!
