Default How much is this 951 worth?

I'm looking into a 944 Turbo, and I want to see how much the car would actually be worth. Here are the details.

Guards Red/Black Interior - Both are pristine.
77k miles
Only mod is chips.
Fuchs in good-excellent condition
Good records.

Recent work:
Timing belt - Including the P9201 with the car.
Rebuilt steering rack - Factory unit
Rebuilt Control Arms
Koni yellows all around - new.

May or may not include high end stereo sytem.

Lightbulb Turbo pricing

Out here, I'd say your private party range is between $5275 - $5730.

I wouldn't pay anymore than that, these cars are like popcorn out here! Last spring out here, you could pick up several turbos in excellent shape for $5000, and $3000 for a mechanically sound beater.

Wow Devia, find me a couple and I'll buy them!

Over on the east coast they usually cost around $7k and up for a nice shape one.

But in all seriousness if you can find me a 951 that is mechanically sound I'll buy it.

Hey I want a turbo that need work for 3k. The tool itself is worth about 400$ I would say 7000$ should be the max to spend on that car the cheaper it is the better because the car sound nice and with the recent work it's a deal.

Devia, thanks! $3800 is pretty cheap for a 951 that has some sort of history. But I might offer him $3k and see if he takes it.

Just remeber....there is no such thing as a CHEAP 951. Pay now or later.......the choice is yours.
Good luck though, it's like looking for the holy grail.

It all depends on the PPI. Just because the owner's spent some money doesn't mean there's a whole lot more that needs fixing.

v944god, I've got another one for you, for $2700, but your pm box is full!

I personally am looking for a 951 with a blown headgasket, not more than $1500, so I have another project car!

I have thoroughly enjoyed working on these cars, lol. My poor boyfriend, NOT!
