Our economics teacher in HS had an early 944 in a nice dark blue, a buddy of mine had an 82 vette which he bought as a fixer-upper, a few kids had the "all-new" Acura Integras(this was the late 80s), one buddy had a new Alfa Spider (which was a POS), another buddy had an early Midget(chrome grille), I had the 924, a GF had a sweet 88 Celica All-Trac turbo which was actually pretty damn fast, and a few guys had IROCs or Z28s(I am from Mullet-town). My favorites were the 73 RR and the 69 Firebird conv. owned by upperclassmen. Those were the days.

My boarding school lot: Nothing! Well a few real mini coopers and a ranger splash. Most people were not allowed to drive in England.
In college I parked between:
1996 Corvette LT-4 (I started college in 1996)
1995 Viper
1987 928 S-4 (I think it was an S-4)
1967 Chevelle (ran 9's, did wheel stands, very cool)
1959 Impala (concours winner, stunning car, really)
It gets worse, the number of girls driving 993s was incredible, there were at least 4 Hummer H-1s in the garage, too many Corvettes to count, you get the picture.
If you want to see disgusting oppulence take a drive in the SMU parking garage, made the garage at Baylor look cheap.

Ah this stuff is old ceremony. As long as I've been around seen rich kids flaunt their expensive toys to bait the tasty chicks I remember one of them back in 1986. He just got a brand new guards red 944S. Drove it into the center of the campus where most cars had no business. He parked it there. Walked away with an attitude with his shades pointing towards the clouds

seriously, my car has to be the best looking car on campus IMHO. there are a couple of WRX's a few mercedes, and a buncha crappy american cars. I'm chillin around and every now and then, someone comes up and says "Is that your Porsh out there?" and I just smile. then they usually ask to see it closer, so I take em out back, show em the engine I built, the interior of the car (which really isn't much to look at) and yeah.
Even the Pizza delivery guy asked me that once. Turns out he in the past has owned 3 924's and currently owns a 911. Yeah...good pizza, good pizza guy.

Race Car
One of my friends in highschool had a NEW 911 cabriolet at 17 in 84 (60k even back then) and there were 3 new corvettes and at least 5 S class mercedes along with countless new BMWs. The ironic thing is, my best friend in high school drove a 1981 Datsun 210 hatchback worth $500 back then (with 7 jumbo accounts at the bank in his name - $100k each) and his mother was worth more than $100 million.

wow....matt....i would love to park there (except for the 96 vette)
At my school....the coolest car was a mint condition (body wise, new engine) Maverick. That thing was the most beautiful color and had the best freakin sound. God I loved that thing. I, however, drove an 86 Pontiac 6000.....................

no porsches at my school at all. just lots of new cars that cost a ton more than my 944 or Range Rover at the time. Everyone knew me because of the Porsche. here at college its another story. the 944 still gets some looks, but now I'm supriesed if i dont see like 15 discoveries, a few defender 90's, a slew of S4's and the usual GT2 on my way to class. basically all students' cars. crazy......I like to think they worked for it

Nordschleife Master
My HS was typical rich middle class area. BMWs 3 series, Lexus IS300's, WRXs and the Lexus SUV. I was the only kid with a Porsche. Everyone thought i had the fastest car in the school for some reason, i loved it because noone knew anything about my 924S.
College for me is the same typical selection, still no other Porsches either.
