I have tried and tried through the system to inculde a photo.....what am I doing wrong....I logged on and uploaded photo to the rennlist site but can't get it any farther....(duh)

 

If you've done the 'upload picture' route, you will see that the pic has a url: something lile http://forums.rennlist.com/upload/mypic1.jpg

To include it in a post, just cut and past that url and put IMG tags infront and behind it:

{img}http://forums.rennlist.com/upload/mypic1.jpg{/img}

Just replace {} with [] (Obviously, I can't use [] in the example!)

how do you find the url now that it is gone (accidently dumped window)

 

Load it again and change the name of it (add a letter or #) or it will say it's already there but won't give you the address.

Also at the bottom of this page (click post reply first) is a box labeled Browse, click on that and thatwill take you to an easier way to include one.

 

What was the original file name? Most likely that's the name of the file on the server, so all you need to do is replace mypic1.jpg with your file name.
