haha.... that would be a problem. wouldnt get very far if i tried to run in my porsche.... in its current condition

I did replace the hoses to my heater core (early 944 w/AC) without removing everything a few years ago. I did peel back the carpet from that area and used an inspection mirror to see up behind the heater/AC box. I think I ended up using 1/4" drive socket extensions/u-joints to get up there. It wasn't easy but it was do-able. Replacing the core itself... well I'd rather not think about it.
