Interesting: but I assume that you can't mount it to the seat belt anchor mounting points? ? ?

It doesn't really matter, because I currentlyl have no aspirations for club racing. I get enough thrills with DE!

944-spec racing requires a FULL CAGE. It can be bolt in or weld-in or bolt in that was welded. In any case a FULL CAGE 6pt max is required. Roll bars only are NOT legal. PCA stock classes are they ONLY place I know of that allow JUST roll bars for wheel to wheel racing. For DE and autocross a bar is good.

For $150, buy it. I sold the Autopower roll bar out of my 83 for $400.

I say buy it. Even if you are not certain you are going to use it, because you can always sell it to another Rennlister for a profit, if need be. Make the price enticing enough and someone would ****** it up fast.

I have been looking for a rear hoop for awhile, finally committed to buying one today myself. Going to Chicago this weekend to pick it up.

I think i am going to pass on it because i called Tim comeau and he informed me that you need to have a full cage so i think it would be more hastle that its worth. M758 also confirmed t for me in his post. I know i could make a quick buck but id rather not go throught the transportation hastle. Ok here is the guys name and # if anyone is interested in it. Autopower makes a weld in front section to turn their roll bars into cages.
