Mmmm,
Have you tried the Momo site, or maybe Clarks Garage?

I'm no electronic wizard, but should be simple enough.

You have one power wire (+) and the hub grounds (-) to the steering shaft. Check your power wire first of all and make sure it's attached properly to the horn ring. Then check to make sure the horn button is grounding properly.

You don't say specifically what car you have, or year, etc- you COULD put that in your sig- I wish everyone would, as it would save some specific questions when trying to answer questions, etc... Not trying to be a jerk at all OR trying to tell people what to do- merely a suggestion... So, did your's have air bags? If so, this is part of the prob- Tom Pultz has a good write-up on the procedure & some possible solutions- I STILL don't have a working horn & I've had my Momo for almost 2yrs- I don't think I needed a horn but maybe 2 or 3 times in the 2.5yrs prior to getting the Momo, but, in the last ~2yrs, I'll bet I've needed it >100 times... (!) ONE oif these days I'll get around to getting a friend help me get it working... Anyway, Tom's site is:

http://www.944s2.com/

BTW- a good way to get rid of the AB warning light is to simply remove the bulb from the cluster- I need to do that for the seatbelt light too. Good luck....

Robby, you could also jumper some of the pins on the AB brain. I think that's also on Tom's site.

I'll check on that- is that simple? I want whatever's simplest that does NOT screw something up, should I ever decide to go back to stock... Although, at this point, I know I could never get anywhere NEAR my $$$ out of this car & have changed so much of it- I may as well keep it forever in some capacity...

From what I've read it's simple, and can be performed in such a way to be "undone".

My 89 951 came with a Momo steering wheel already installed and the "!" and the AB warning lights are on all the time. Additionally, the horn.....doesn't really work but strangely enough when you make a full lock turn (or very close) the horn goes off. I guess I should check the wiring but I've been too busy with other things.

I would also like to have a horn that works and to turn off those infernal "!" and "AB" lights!!!!

The copper contact ring on the back/bottom of the MOMO hub has to contact the spring loaded pin. The early 944/924 pin is at a different radial distance from the shaft. Make sure you have the correct hub - the children who sell these things for momo don't know the friggin difference.

My car came with a momo. Be carueful as the copper contact on the boss needs to be bent to ensure contact with the horn ring.
